Yosemite are reportedly launching this fall and Apple’s preparing 4K display

It is said that, according to 9to5.com, Apple is expected to finish up work on Yosemite in early October and release a golden master build around October 10th. Before that Apple plans to continue releasing OS X Yosemite Developer Previews every two to three weeks.



OS X Yosemite was announced at WWDC 2014 and applied with new flat-style icon as well as the translucency, so does some news features like global search, iCloud drive, etc. It is estimated that Apple will release the detail of final version of OS X Yosemite at press conference like last year.


It is also disclose that Apple is planning develop 4K display which will be contributing selling point for retina-level Macbook and the new OS X Yosemite. Apple will also update the iMovie, FCPX, etc. video editing tools with adding 4K video output/input feature utilize their own hardware advantage. There is also rumor about the 12-inches Macbook Pro, which seems not necessary due to the existing 11-inches and 13 inches Macbook.
