Play Blu-ray ISO on Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

If you are Apple developer or Apple seed user, you may have updated to the OS X Yosemite and experience the new feature. What make you fell disappointed may the wide compatibility issue, for example, you may find the iMovie, Final Cut Pro works wrongly. Or you may need extra settings to ignore the problem. Some other issue includes the “The disc you inserted is nor readable by this computer”, which encountered then you deal with Blu-ray discs. That means now you can not enjoy Blu-ray disc on your Mac even with Blu-ray drive and the right Blu-ray Player software like Aurora (works fine on OS X 10.9).

But here I still want to introduce a guide for you about the play Blu-ray ISO on Mac OS X 10.10. The feature was built-in with Aurora Blu-ray Player for Mac. With it, you can enjoy Blu-ray ISO movie directly. There is no need of third party add-on or virtual drive apps.

According to our testing, there is no issue with mounting DVD ISO or loading DVD disc. But for Blu-ray, the new OS X Yosemite beta cannot deal with any type of them. We can only expect the future updates. But if you have some Blu-ray ISO movie collections, you can enjoy them now with the help of Aurora Blu-ray Player for Mac.

There is no complicated operation, what you should do is just to click “Open File” to load the ISO movie or drag and drop to play it directly.
